How to format a laptop which has a windows xp Atom operating system ?
i have a toshiba nb200 laptop with windows xp ATOM operating system....can i have e the procedure to format the laptop ?

Layvanom, are you going to install a different operating system like Linux or ChromiumOS Vanilla? With Linux distros, you just start the live cd and when it all opened you have the choice to INSTALL. During that process, you have the choice of partitioning the HDD or installing using the entire HDD. Since you have not stated what exactly you have in mind, I don't know how much I can help you. Please post back with your intentions so that I or someone else here can assist you.

Hey reboot the system using windows CD. Install windows in a different drive than last time where you had it. After the windows get installed, format the old drive/ partition.

You want to install different operating systems like Linux OS vanilla. With the Linux distributions you are just starting the Live CD and open, you can choose to install. In this process you have to partition your hard drive or install the choice of using the entire hard drive.
