OS X Arrives on the Cr-48

You give a bunch of developers and early adopters a prototype device that they can jailbreak, and what do you get? People throwing their favorite operating system on the device. Now, I don’t think that this OS and the Cr-48 could possibly get along very well (it’s probably a syrupy slow experience) but someone had to do it.
Lilliputing is also reporting that someone has also been able to run both Windows and OS X on a Cr-48. No, not at the same time, however. You can get more details over at Something Awful, which is exactly what this combination sounds like on a machine with 2GB of RAM and an Intel Atom processor with limited graphics capability.

Gotta love tweakers, although I’m not sure it’s worth the effort of putting OS X on a think client machine.
