Well, the holiday season has slowed news about Chrome to a complete crawl. We’ll be back at blogging in a few days, after what has been a very exciting month overall. The announcement of Chrome OS devices coming from both Samsung and Acer, the Chrome Web Store launch and the continued shipping of Cr-48a to some lucky people made this one of the best months yet for the site.
So thanks for stopping by to get your news and tips, and for hanging around in the forum which was started earlier this month and is a growing as a community every day.

In the meantime, go ahead and get your holiday Chrome apps in order, or follow Santa via Google’s own tracker.

We’re making a formal request for those of you reading to join the forum. There are going to be a lot of features added to the Chrome Source site in the next few weeks, and the best way to support us to is to add your thoughts to our site. With commentary, reviews of both Chrome OS along with the competition and breaking news we hope to be your source for news on Google’s Chrome operating system. We’re not asking for much other than to register on our site that we’ve put together, and we hope that you appreciate us enough to do so.
Please post your comments about us! We can take the criticism (we think).
Forum is Back Up!

Alright, well after much wrangling this weekend (and much banging, sorry keyboard) the forum is back up and running. Unfortunately, I had to start from scratch with postings and user registrations, so I apologize ahead of time for anyone who has to register all over again. At the outset, I went with a forum software that simply did not give me the features that I needed, and I’ve finally decided that there is not going to be one single forum software package that is going to give me what I want, so it’s time to compromise.
Note to anyone wanting to add a forum to their website: make sure you spend a lot of time figuring out what you need before starting your forum. There are a lot of options out there, and its best to try a few out before you implement it on your site.
Now, back to regular posting!
